Something I just have to get off my chest.

Thursday, July 18, 2002
It is possible for meaningless nothing to be so profoundly meaningless and nonexistent as to actually take on a meaning based solely on this meaningless nothingness.
What the---, you say? I'll try to explain.
Every non-issue becomes an issue for no other reason than the fact that it is not an issue. Empty thoughts are pondered at length, as such emptiness is always cause for pondering.
But at the heart of it is something, perhaps even everything. It's just safely and warmly wrapped in a gossamer cloak of nothing. There is no navigating such a cloak. Something (or everything) will seem non-existent one moment; then will present itself in full splendor the next. There will be no graceful transition, no gray area. It will be darknesss, then light. Night, and then day. It will be discovered as if it were new, but it has always been right there waiting.
