The Excruciatingly Painful

It doesn't really hurt that bad, it's just the possibilities running through my head that plague me. Yes, the back pain has not gone away. I really think it is the non-Herman Miller Aeron chair that I reluctantly lower myself into 5 (+/-) days per week. It certainly isn't caused by any of the delightful exercises I do at the gym, not that a change of routine and a form check aren't perpetually beneficial. I laid off the weights last night so the old back could relax and heal, but it refused to comply. It can't be coddled forever, it will just take advantage of my kindness and get lazier and weaker. It will be punished for its indolence.

Speaking of lazy and weak, the gym was sparsely populated last night (although there were a fair number of folks there), so I was forced to seize the alpha beefcake title once again. Not that it hasn't been rightfully mine all along...
