Quote of the Day
(from the Sunherald's Letters to the Editor)
"Saying that Al Gore won the 2000 election is like having a lizard tattooed on your forehead. You certainly have the right to do so, but everyone else has the right to think that you are a moron."
The article begins: — It’s a case involving a 9-year-old girl with a dream, her determined mother, and society’s seeming obsession with skin-and-bone females.
No evidence whatsoever is presented anywhere in the article that would support this claim. Yes, there's plenty of the usual drivel, so maybe that's supposed to be enough.
If this 9-year old didn't have an eating disorder before her kindhearted mother started this bullshit ordeal, it's pretty safe to assume that she will now.

Under the picture of the little girl, please replace the existing text:
"Four-year-old Amari Diaw wasn't allowed to dance in her school's recital because her hairdo didn't meet dance school requirements. (ABCNEWS.com)"
with my corrected version:
"Four-year-old Amari Diaw wasn't allowed to dance in her school's recital because her mother wouldn't fix her hair in accordance with dance school requirements. (ABCNEWS.com)"
