The mother of a boy charged with animal cruelty after a cat was hanged from a tree in Cole Harbour says the community backlash against her son is worse than it was in Stewiacke, where the boy caused a train derailment two years ago.
Yes, the sweet little lad of 16 years caused a train to derail two years ago, and has now moved on to hanging cats.
People living near Beaver Crescent, where the July 9 incident occurred, say they're sick of the vandalism, violence and threats that have had the neighbourhood on edge since the spring. They attribute the problems to the 16-year-old boy and his 14-year-old brother, who's also charged with animal cruelty.
The family moved to Cole Harbour about a year ago, saying they were driven out of the Stewiacke area.
"I would say it's a little bit worse," said the woman, who can't be identified because her son is charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
She also lashed out at the media for dragging up the boy's past.
"Do you know how horrific it is for these kids to go to jail to begin with?" she said Monday. "He's done his time. Stop bringing it up every single time something happens.
"What are you after? A death, is that what you want?" she said, before hanging up the phone.
This stupid bitch that is raising menaces to society is angry because people keep bringing up her piece of shit son's past "every single time something happens." Is this to say things "happen" a lot when this woman's progeny are out and about? This good woman probably explained to the reporter exactly why it is the community's responsibility to tolerate her sons' threats to life and property, but the cruel reporter must have left out this little tidbit. Yes, that must be it. If anyone is wondering what the problem with these boys might be, looking at the statements made by their worthless mother will make it abundantly clear. Her child tried to murder people (but only succeeded in injuring them) and when her sons torture and kill an innocent animal, this portrait of maternal decency is appalled at how people perceive her little angels. How very very sad.
And on an unrelated note - where's the dad while all this is happening? Hmmm......
