Federal Workers Stupid, Screw Themselves Out of Money

Could've Just Printed Their Own

http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/front/2563064

At least 28 senior-level federal employees in eight agencies have bogus college degrees, including three managers at the office that oversees nuclear weapons safety, congressional investigators have found.

The problem is likely even bigger, mainly because the government has no uniform way to check whether employees' alma maters are "diploma mills" that require little, if any, academic work, the General Accounting Office reported.

No way to check, you say? Why not just see if the schools are accredited? These stupid federal agencies got what they deserved. If any diploma will do, as is quite obviously the case, why the sudden interest in the validity of the credential? If they wished to only consider diplomas from actual accredited schools, they should have said so. And it isn't that damn hard to check. Well, perhaps it is hard for a federal employee, but they could contract it out. Yes, hire an army of contractors to see if that diploma from the online university based in Liberia is comparable to a diploma from Yale. Idiots.

'Ho' Leaves Baby in Car

http://www.newsday.com/news/local/longisland/ny-libaby0508,0,1456908.story?coll=ny-topstories-headlines

This is one of those cases of ignorant fool women leaving babies unattended in locked cars while pursuing activities of questionable importance. This one is different in that the baby survived intact. Also different in that the baby-momma, if you will, is a known prostitute. And that the baby's father is a proven house-pimp or man-madam, whatever term you prefer. But what are these bitches thinking? Are they of some alternate universe where a parked car is a perfectly safe place to store a baby while getting a haircut or shopping for hoochie clothes? Do they actually believe this is a safe thing to do, or do they just consider babies to be so unimportant that they don't give their safety a second thought? Or are they just pathologically stupid? We may be on to something with that one, but I want answers, damn it!
