Big Surprise

http://online.wsj.com/article_email/0,,SB109987036413667092-IFjg4Nglad3oJusbHyGaa2Em4,00.html

If it's okay for a parent/teacher/school principal/school custodian to force-feed a perfectly happy small child some controlled substances in order to make them less hyper, then how is it not okay (or even better) for a teenager or young adult to willingly pop a few of the very same pills in the hopes of improving standardized test scores? And is it really surprising that kids who have been brought up in homes where the solution is always pharmaceuticals (regardless of the problem) decide to turn to the bottle (of pills) when they seek to achieve more desirable results?
